My Story
Hello,
I hail from the quaint town of Madukkur in Tamil Nadu. Growing up, I often heard people say that everyone should possess at least one talent. This sparked a sense of curiosity and excitement within me, driving me to discover my own unique skill. Meanwhile, some of my friends spent their weekends attending C++ classes at our school. I couldn't fathom why they would sacrifice their weekends for this and often teased them about it.
One day, as I stood outside the classroom for not completing my assignments, I decided to ask my friend why they were so dedicated to these weekend classes and what C++ was all about. He explained that C++ was a programming language used to create software, games, and websites. He even shared his project, which tracked his family's milk expenses. This revelation ignited a spark within me, kindling a newfound interest in programming.
Determined to learn more, I dove into my textbooks and wrote my first program, which calculated the total and cutoff marks for various subjects. The success of this initial endeavor fueled my passion for programming and led me to pursue a B.Tech in Information Technology at Aalim Muhammed College of Engineering in Chennai. There, a senior's project—a web app for managing blood donor data—further intrigued me, and I eagerly explored web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
However, I soon realized that technical prowess alone wouldn't secure a job; communication skills were equally important. To improve my English, I started watching animated movies in their original language rather than Tamil-dubbed versions. Driven by the desire to enhance my communication skills, I moved to Bangalore on September 11, 2017. Within days, I attended an interview on the 13th and joined a company on the 14th.
In this new environment, I embraced the opportunity to learn new frameworks like Laravel and Angular, thanks to my small but supportive team. I then ventured into NodeJS and MongoDB, becoming a proficient MEAN stack developer, and eventually mastered ReactJS and VueJS. This journey of discovery and learning has been both challenging and rewarding, continually pushing me to grow and evolve.
